What makes her awesome

I am currently an undergraduate student at the City University of New York pursuing computer science and I am a Cybersecurity and Privacy Interest group leader at Rewriting the Code as well as a hackathon committee member for RTC Black Wings. I have completed internships in software engineering, data visualization, web development, and mobile development, to name a few. I have completed courses alongside my degree to learn more about different areas of computer science in which I can choose to launch a career in. I am passionate about technology, propelling women in S.T.E.M., and helping underserved communities, and I plan to continue working on that mission after graduation.

  • The moment she knew a career in tech was for her

I learned about computer science, engineering, and robotics in high school!
  • What the RTC community means to her

I joined RTC to find other women on the same journey in tech, and it has been a tremendous resource for me to find opportunities and stay on my computer science path in school and in my career.

I want to help get more women and people of color into the S.T.E.M. field and help alleviate poverty.
