What makes her awesome

I have a hermit crab at school named sundried tomato who I LOVE. I’m also involved with the DEI committee at UNC’s computer science department where we are developing a framework for inclusion. I am also a huge Disney fan which is great since I’m going to work for Disney as a software engineer after I graduate!

  • The moment she knew a career in tech was for her

I’ve been in love with working with computers since I was six years old so it’s always been a strong interest. It definitely grew as I learned more about developing as I went to high school and started to take AP computer science courses.
  • What the RTC community means to her

I joined RTC because I wanted the opportunity to meet people with a common interest and who knew what I was going through in the industry. One of the most major ways RTC has helped me was during my job hunt for a new grad position where people were so supportive and gave me lots of advice about how to stand out and do well in interviews.

I want to focus on communication between others and how that can be improved with technology. Accessibility is another passion of mine and I would love to help ensure that websites and other technologies are as accessible as possible.
