RTC is the world’s largest, free, peer-to-peer network of students and early career women in tech. Together we’re changing the face of technology in the UK, so no matter where you are on your education or career journey, you belong at Rewriting the Code.
From your first coding class to your first promotion, we offer holistic, accessible support through the important milestones of your tech journey. We believe women belong in tech, and our support does not end at graduation. We empower women to complete degree programs, build careers, and impact the industry.
You don’t need us to tell you that women are significantly underrepresented in tech, but we believe that through community, mentorship, education, and access to opportunities we can make meaningful progress towards righting this ratio.
In an industry where we’re the underrepresented gender, Rewriting the Code creates a community where, instead, we’re part of a family of like-minded women. Here we support each other’s unique ambitions by sharing ideas, insights, and real-world experiences.
Navigate your education and career with support from women who’ve been where you are. Our mentors represent a broad network of company tech leaders and peers.
We’re dedicated to correcting inequity in the tech industry. Our accessible memberships are the first step to more equitable workplaces.
Earning your degree in a male-dominated field is a unique challenge. We offer guidance, support and community on every step of your path to graduation.
Tech doesn’t define us, it unites us. Join hundreds of UK women — and thousands more worldwide — getting access to woman-centred resources and a support system that allows you to connect in-person and online with other members near and far.
