Rewriting the Code’s 2024 Impact Report

At Rewriting the Code, we envision a world where women in tech lead, innovate, and drive meaningful change. In 2024, we took bold steps toward that goal. We hosted over 255 events with over 8,000 attendees and launched Black Wings UK, and 95% of RTC members felt confident about pursuing a career in tech by graduation. Our vibrant and driven community showed up in full force, bringing high energy, strong engagement, and meaningful connections in our Slack channels and with our partners. We’re excited to reflect on what RTC has accomplished over the past year.

2024 was one of significant growth at RTC. We welcomed six new team members to better support our community, and our membership expanded by 39%, reaching over 32,000 members. Our UKI community also flourished, growing by 35% as we celebrated a full year of dedicated efforts in the region. And as our membership grew, so did our impact, enhancing our programming with new offerings to better equip members with the skills, knowledge, and connections they need to thrive.

In 2025, we hope to reach new heights and amplify the growth we had in 2024. As we look towards these next 12 months and beyond, we remain dedicated to equipping them with the technical skills and knowledge essential for success in the technology industry.

We plan to focus on:

  • Tech-forward education in high-growth areas
  • Career readiness
  • Global expansion
  • Data insights
  • Social impact

Join us in being part of the movement driving change in our world. Let’s continue to rewrite the code, together.
