These socials also offer an informal space to learn about upcoming Black Wings events and initiatives, all while nurturing authentic sisterhood and belonging in tech. We chat about our month, celebrate wins, and tackle challenges along our tech journeys. It’s a vibrant space created with Black women in tech in mind—a place to connect, share experiences, and grow together as a community.

✨ Each session features a special guest speaker, followed by a relaxed social and networking segment where members can mingle, swap ideas, and build connections.

This month we will be joined by Gertrude Chisamba-Laity, a Cyber Security Senior Project Manager at Admiral with more than a decade of experience in the tech industry and a career shaped by a deliberately non linear path. Her work is rooted in turning connection into action and inclusion into meaningful impact, with a focus on elevating and empowering other women in tech. Her topic will focus on ‘Harnessing the Transformative Power of Community’!
