How will I balance this with my current role?

You engage on your terms. Some members check in daily, whilst others connect mainly during specific challenges or when seeking new opportunities. Our Slack community is there round-the-clock, but you participate when it suits you, whether that’s during your commute, lunch break, or evening downtime.

Will this be relevant to my specific role or industry?

Absolutely. We have dedicated channels for every tech role and industry, from software engineering and data science to product management and UX design across fintech, and dozens more sectors. You’ll find women in similar roles or working where you aspire to be.

How does this complement my company’s internal networks?

Can I join if I’m not in a technical role?

Yes! We welcome women in product management, design, technical marketing, data analytics, and other tech-adjacent roles. If you work in or with technology, this community is for you.

How selective is the application process?

Our early career community is specifically designed for women with 1-6 years of experience in tech. If that’s you, the application process is simple; we just verify you’re a real person who identifies as a woman in tech.

If you’re currently a student, we’d love to have you join our student community instead, which is tailored to the unique challenges of tech education. And if you have more than 6 years of experience, we encourage you to apply as a mentor or speaker to share your valuable insights with those earlier in their journey.

No matter where you are in your tech career, there’s a place for you at RTC. We’re not about creating barriers; we’re about connecting you with the right community for your specific stage.

How much does membership cost?

Membership is completely free. We believe financial circumstances shouldn’t prevent any woman from accessing the support she needs to succeed in tech.
